Lawyer Dhaka Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the services provided by Lawyer Dhaka. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Services
We provide legal services in accordance with the laws and regulations of the jurisdiction. Our services include, but are not limited to, legal advice, representation, and consultation. The scope of our services will be detailed in a separate engagement letter or agreement.
3. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely information relevant to the services we provide.
- Cooperate with us and respond promptly to our requests for information and instructions.
- Pay for our services in accordance with the fee arrangement outlined in our engagement letter or agreement.
4. Fees and Payment
Our fees for legal services will be based on the fee arrangement agreed upon in our engagement letter or agreement. Payment terms are as follows:
- Retainer Fees: An initial retainer fee may be required before we commence work on your behalf.
- Hourly Rates: Services may be billed at our standard hourly rates.
- Fixed Fees: For certain services, we may offer a fixed fee arrangement.
- Expenses: You are responsible for reimbursing any expenses incurred on your behalf, such as court fees, travel expenses, and third-party services.
Invoices are due within 7 days of the invoice date. Late payments may incur interest at a rate of 15% per month.
5. Confidentiality
We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all information you provide to us. We will not disclose your information to third parties except as required by law, with your consent, or as necessary to provide our services.
6. Conflicts of Interest
We will take reasonable steps to identify and avoid conflicts of interest. If a conflict arises, we will notify you and discuss the appropriate course of action, which may include obtaining your consent to continue representing you or withdrawing from representation.
7. Termination
You may terminate our services at any time by providing written notice. We may also terminate our services if you fail to meet your obligations under these Terms if a conflict of interest arises, or for other good cause. Upon termination, you are responsible for paying any outstanding fees and expenses.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claims arising from our services is limited to the amount you have paid us for those services. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or our services will be resolved through [mediation/arbitration/litigation] in [jurisdiction]. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [jurisdiction].
